My name is Robert Jakob Metzger

How I Learn

I am currently enrolled at the University of Houston working on a COMPSCI degree. I am in my first year though so I have to take all the boring classes that have absolutely nothing to do with my future career or degree. I learn more from teaching myself than anyone else teaching me. I enjoy all things Tech, especially when it involves making a piece of hardware do things that no one ever intended it to do.

What I do

I get by doing Freelance web design for a small set of clients and if you might be interested please check out my other site, JakobMetzger.com. I don’t claim to be the master of any one thing. Im a jack of all trades but master of none.

Hobbies

I dabble in various things. Most things that have to do with Xbox 360, iPhone, Apple, hardware hacks, Home Theater Setups, Home Automation, etc… Mostly just things that make you stand back and wonder how it works or just think to yourself “WOW thats really cool”. If it wasn’t for modders/hackers this world would be very dull. Imagine using gadgets only for their original purpose… that wouldn’t be very fun at all.
